    I've been using both Power service "Diesel Kleen" and "Stanadyne jr" together in my deuce for years and so far so good.

    Finally restoring the M37

    I went with screws on the hood welting and I used wide head aluminum rivets to fasten the rubber cowl/fender welting, those skinny steel ones looked like they would pull through the rubber in no time....your truck looks great!

    And after you check and re-grease the ( solid ) trunnion bearings re install using two bearing nuts instead of just the one, and if you don't already have one then drill and install a grease fitting in the bearing housing ( see pic ) I also drilled drain holes in the bolt slots ( see pic )

    M37 made it to it's new home

    Looks like a early M-37 ( firewall mounted fuel filter ) that was upgraded with door mount (B1) spare tire. Its rare to get one with the snorkels ( fording kit ). Very nice unmolested truck you have there ( even still has the correct radiator hose clamps [thumbzup] )

    I did it the lazy way on both my deuce beds, I drilled 4, 1/4" holes in the bed floor and bolted the lifting chains to the bed and lifted them that way

    Yep Thats a post WWII WDX series ( 1947-68 ) Dodge Power Wagon, Not to be confused with the later W series Power Wagon ( 1957- )

    I went to the sewing section of a local store and bought 3" green foam for my deuce passenger/driver seat bottoms and 2" for pass side back rest.
