STUD!
Milsurp,
It sounds like you are missing the STUD that pushes into the spring clip!
If someone just attached the knob to the glove box door with a screw, then it won't be long enough to push into the spring clip!
Do you have the STUD that sticks out about 1/2 an inch on the back side of...
GLOVE BOX DOOR?
Milsurp,
There is a bracket that is attached to the dash, that has a spring clip in it!
The knob on the door has a stud on it that is held closed by the tension of the spring clip on the bracket!
P.S. When I got my M37-B1, the door was so tight that I had...
TRUST!
I sold my Deuce this Spring to a gentleman from Virginia.
He saw the pictures on an ad that I placed right here on the Steel Soldiers Forum.
He never came to actually look at the Deuce, but I got a certified check in the mail!

I'll bet you're already planning next years "venison maneuvers"!

I might look around for a good used one...
Gentlemen,

I am looking at a Sears Craftsman 6-hp, 33 gallon, 150 psi, single cylinder, oil free.
It is available in an upright or hotizontal version. Is there any advantage to either style, other than the obvious footprint (floor...
It Lives!
ryanaero,
It is good to see another M37 saved from certain death!
Good luck with the project and keep us up to speed on the progress! [thumbzup]
Parts Truck?
ryanaero,
I think that by the time I pay shipping and handling charges, buying parts from other guys parts trucks, I will pay for a parts truck!
Dueling Masters!
CGarbee,
I appreciate the in depth details on the conversion!
I will have to start rounding up the parts and getting started! [thumbzup]
