I have comprehensive through Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Co.on my M818 and M813 no mileage limit and no need to store inside for $136 a year for the pair.
So anyone using anything other than a diesel and motor oil mix to treat their decking? I am thinking about pressure washing mine first and them hosing it down with the diesel/oil mix. Some one once told me if you saturate the wood with water then heated it while applying pressure you could...
On the front of the trailer the boards have separated enough the metal divider has fallen through! The trailer is 30 feet long, I think my 818 is longer than 10feet even without a winch?
My other 127 has large D rings for tie down this on has the small loop that looks like a special tie down...
I just spent $750 for a M127 good paint, new tires and a poor deck, not terrible but poor. A couple of the planks are starting to turn up and twist at the very front of the trailer over the king pin, I know a diesel and motor oil saturation will preserve the wood but will it bring it back? Any...
Thanks guys, I am going to give it another try tomoorrow, New GSA guy is being a ..... little uncooperative going to sic the inpound guy on me after one day of parking on a side road!
I can feel them move? How do you grease it up with the trailer is on it? Would Kroil oil work or does it have to be something heavy like grease? I have even thought of setting up my farm jack on the platform and lifting the trailer up some so I can use the jacks to reduce weight on the fifth...
I have the new style fifth wheel on my 818 and I am having a hard time getting it to release the kingpin. I have read the -10 but still no help. My plunger handle has a triangular handle on it and there is a second lever with a small circular handle on it. I am on my own trying to drop the...
I got most of my stuff in Russellville so I gotta go on this one, .... what to drive, or better yet what is running? Sam, what's up I would like to meet you and it's a short drive!
I just got antique tags for my 813 so I know she is wrong or else my girl was. You also don't need a title if the vehicle is over 25 years old a bill of sale is enough and if it is under $3200 i think it is sales tax free too!
A year or two ago someone on the forum was selling the 24 volt units for $15 to members, no box but everything was there, don't know if they are still around or if they still have them are not?
Hey, I resemble that! Looks like recover may be Friday, GSA guy was not too friendly, old guy is gone! Now nothing runs and he doesn't know anything about anything! May have to break out the tow bar after all, but it won't be the first time!
I am amazed their are any still in inventory, mine had a stent with Home Land Security after active duty ended and prior to going on the auction block, and mine was completely drained of fluids including the crane reservoir! It's a fun truck, now you have to start the quest of all of the kit.
I now wish I had spent the $1600 for the M51A1 with winch as well, both looks completed and I really need a parts truck for my M543! Maybe next auction?
