They did the CC thing to me, too and then had the nerve to say that I owed THEM $600. I told them I would rather never do business with them again than to give them $600 to pay for a mistake THEY made.
In Tennessee you MUST register a vehicle if you want a title. I just transfer plates from one vehicle to another to keep from having to spend the $50 for new tags. The good thing is that you can get a title in TN for a vehicle more than 30 years old with just a bill of sale.
All bolts and nuts on a deuce are SAE. Get a good set of standard and deep well sockets in 3/8 and 1/2 inch. Also, get a set of 1/2" impact sockets and a good 1/2" impact wrench.( and a good air compressor if you don't already have one). You will be glad you did.
What you must remember is that the fuel in a diesel is ignited by compressing the air to the point where it is hot enough to ignite the fuel. If the block is cold, it can actually absorb the heat in the compressed air to the point it isn't warm enough to ignite the fuel. Quick and easy fix...
