I'm finally catching up on the modifications to my deuce. Here are a few shots of the Ouverson front lockout hubs installation from 02/01/13.
As always, check my website for a complete description of all modifications.
Mike,
I was thinking since I put the self etching primer + the Rustoleum Rusty Metal primer that I didn't need to pay for the Behr paint with primer included. It is much cheaper per gallon without the Behr primer included.
OMG I'm so tired of paint prep work. I wish you luck my friend. So far I have wire wheeled the entire frame, front fenders and front bumper to bare steel. I then self etch primed them and put Rustoleum rusty metal primer on the frame as a second primer. Three coats of self etch and 3 coats...
Still painting the deuce. Slowest restoration E-V-E-R! But, I'm doing it right the first time. Mother nature is a beeotch!
What about you? Got any more mods coming up for your sweet bobber?
I made a separate thread with a video on how I turned the fuel up on my deuce. No idea why the moderators won't make it a sticky.

I used www.brake-hose.com for custom braided stainless steel brake lines on my bobbed deuce. Labeled DOT and tested per the law (3000psi). They are in Georgia.
