    Overheating

I am doing exactly that... When I was working on my radiator I removed the over flow tube to get it out of the way... In the process I noted that the tube was plugged solid from one end to the other... Proably started with critters and finished with whom knows what! Rather than risk a second...

RE: Anybody know the length of the alt. bolt on the pass. si Always always always grade 8 unless you need it in some type of shearing capacity. IE when you want the bolt to break before something else does, like a tractor / bush hog drive shaft application...

    Diablo Build Update (pics)

Original plan was to dual belt the water pump, 24V alt, and AC with a additional pulley mounted on the water pump to run the 12V... Will proably end up going there but as I said for simplicity's sake I will give this a whirl first... Swapping it out only takes 20 mins and I have so much going on...

Fabrication wise... that proably would be MUCH easyer to do... I would hate looseing that oil cooler, that would be a hard system to beat. Spin on yes... Remote spin on and gaining faster oil psi even better... building the bypass needed to plumb it eeek!!!! I think about this every day (sad...

Sometimes it doesn't seem like you have done very much but you have been running your butt off like mad all day... Got the cab interior stripped and got it remount to the frame... Cut the AC openings and test fitted all of that on the inside, great fit over all. A hitch on my dash though...

Might not look like much but the insulation on the outside is done... Baked potato anyone? Took all night Wed to get it all on, slow fitting job!! I used a marine adhesive to attach the sheeting and sealed off the seams with the same to keep it stuck down for a LONG time and help to keep the...

    Overheating

Could be ether or... I always have my heads crack tested when I have them shaved... Usually its pointless but once in a blue moon it saves ya a lot of work and heart ache. Napa sells a leak detector kit which uses a chemical to check the gases bubbling in the cooling system... Might want to...

    12v Deep Cycle Battery Set-up for Camper on 24v '68 M35A2

Yep... adding amps Thought of something I should have said before in regards to mounting an alternator... The other side of the motor would be easier (I have a AC compressor in the way)... I have a bracket template for the compressor which could easily be made into a alternator bracket... You...

    12v Deep Cycle Battery Set-up for Camper on 24v '68 M35A2

Because when you activate the trucks electrical system your 12 /12 becomes 24V... The scenario your describing would simply double your battery capacity and you could pull 12V (as you can now) oof of any one battery... Until you activate the ignition switch.

    12v Deep Cycle Battery Set-up for Camper on 24v '68 M35A2

I use Napa 9934/78 gel cells... They are much smaller, lighter, sealed, have a much higher CCA and are 84 month battries. If your going to use a 12 /24 system the 3rd battery fits into the box with 3!
