Soon as my damn R&D department gets done with it... The SOB is slow as all get out and seems to be insulating the bottom of the cab rather than doing to pulley he should be working on... This would of course be myself!!! lol Gimme 3-4 days and you will have pics and sizes... Will also take a pic...
Dittto on both...
I did the 12 -24V converter on a Penz about 8 months ago using a control relay and a diode which is a pretty simple set up but I was not very happy with the limitations of the transformer and charging. If you go this route spend the bucks on a GOOD self regulating unit...
Might have a diffrent style metering rod in it... I have ahd 2 former GIs telling me stories about having to get spare rods and take them to the shop to be turned in order to bump the fuel on the M35 their units use to use... I kept thinking they were just BS'ing to BS but maybe the newer style...
Not a whole lot interesting but I have the chassis coated and the drive line painted... A little faster than I thought so a bit of a gain... I didn't bother with the wench and related.. that will be coming off here after the cab is back on for a reseal and power coat... Same with the bumperets...

I am usually here till 9-10-11PM... Motovation pending of course... swing by, I cant answer the phone usually becasue I cant hear the ring.
Ok I am calling shenanigans on this one...
I had to ask twice and the reply I received was... "Mike, Not interested in having our information posted to Steel Soldiers web page. Thanks"
Kinda annoying especially when I never mentioned SS, on line, web, or anything else... I only asked for a...
I have a few more gaskets and seal to swap out but I have a question about the air piston seal in the front of the TC... The bolts are looking really close to the cross member as is the unit... Can that be pulled in the frame or should I fly that thing out while the cab is off to do it?
Ah... I see we have the same karma... or maybe the same inept ability to seek out and find "the one"| and prolly "only" arse hole minded moron in the mix to have to deal with in a situation where your just lookin to have a little fun and relaxation... *sigh*... add him to the "one day when I...
He he he he... If they didn't think I am nuts up until today I can say I changed the last few remaining minds... Co workers! LOL
Cab came off... Only took about 1.5 hours to pull it but keep in mind my fenders and trans covers were off already... I had a 15 min help job on the lifting but other...
DId you get my PM???
My answer to IP pumps is always the same.... Don't take them apart... Take them to someone that knows what they are doing...
In your situation on the other hand I can understand taking it apart... I know what the inside looks like but I do not know how to explane the...
I think I have this worked out...
You can see by the pics there is plenty of room to fit this under the dash but with the lines coming off of the back its hard to get it in place with out the hole being cut. The unit size is 9 inches deep and the dash is 10.5 inches deep. Made a cardboard...
OK some test fitting (again)... I threw in the condenser so you could see how that is going to work out... Other than having to remove the wench handle's "lock out" everything else will bolt up fine. The hoses will of course get moved around and mounted correctly but more or less it is what it...
