I like this way a lot better than having to run remote oil lines and a remote filter base. Is this the same principal as the tractor setup? What about bypass?
Not sure what my seat is. It has a spring ride that is adjustable from the front and the back and bottom kind of work together to dampen the ride. I like it, eaiser on the back.
Will try to get a Pic later.
Well here is my idea. Wish I could have found he cap that goes with it. Not sure what this access came off of but I think it would work. It has a 29" opening.
Need help locating a pic. I know I saw where someone had a hard top and it had an access hole for the gun mount. Can't find it, anybody know where it is?. I am thinking about adding an access to mine. But I still want a soft top..........
Ok here are some pic's of the legs and ring mount. The legs I have may not be a matched set as I collected them over some time but they look simple enough.
RE: Price
At first they were not cut. After some idiots rolled them and got hurt and sued the Govt. for thier own stupidity they started cutting them. Originaly most were cut across in the center. Below or just in front of the seats from side to side. I have seen some cut into thirds and...
I think it is just to allow the air pressure to bleed off so when you remove the cover nothing comes flying in your face. I have noticed 3 styles on the ones I have picked up. Solid, ones with a small hole, and the one you posted.
Here is the post with the pic's of my M66 ring mount and the 1919 I pm you about.

I have access to used rims off and on. I can scavenge nuts from them. I had never seen one with 5 sided nuts. I picked this one up because the tire looked good. Then noticed a plug in the sidewall.
Ok I added a locker to the front axel. Man what a differance in the mud. With the 15.5’s it was bad on the knuckles from before with the steering wheel spinning out of control in ruts or hitting obstacles. Know with the locker it seams a lot worse. If I added the air assist steering will it...
NO FORD..........I would like to make it a daily driver, 6,000+ miles a year. At 6mpg I can put $1,000 in it and recover that in one year in gas alone. My M725 get 7mpg and the big ugly deuce gets about the same. CJ5 comes in at 15mpg, gee I don't have anything that gets good milage.
Not sure at this point what condition the 230 is in. It was locked up when I got it. Head has been pulled and motor freed up. Lost of gunk in the oil system. If it is salvageable I will run it for a while if not a motor swap to either a 283 or 350. I was looking for some way to increase...
I had my lockout on the rear tandum. Lost of spin and hop from the front. Moved the lockout to the front and 80% better. Less spin and hop. I am running 15.5's.
I found a rockwell axel at a salvage wholsale company. It is used but in a wooden crate. Has a rebuild service tag but did not get the info from it. Too dark for PIC's in the wearhouse. It looks like a deuce axel. Has 6 lug pattern. It also has a CTIS inflation system. What would the axel...
My master vent is crimped like that. There is a petcock added to the top of the master cap which seales it. Does the cap need to be vented? I had some brake problems until I removed the master and cleaned all the gunk out. Now it will slide the 15.5's.
