Just won an auction - M1088A1

I'd recommend using fine pitch thread, with distorted thread locknuts. Fine pitch is better under vibration than coarse. Yellow chromate coating is the best easily available coating for the bolts.

    Engine Mount Replacement

I should have just done that in retrospect. Once I started the process of unbolting the adapters I didn't want to let them beat me.

    Engine Mount Replacement

Just did mine. Not a fun job with lack of clearance for the bolts. I really don't like how they mounted these at an angle. They don't have much movement capability and just gravity is going to have them touching metal before too long I bet.

    MTVR Seat Belt

For drivers side - if you have the air ride seat: the belt and retractor, with the cab strap as well is 2540-01-479-9200. Later armor models is 2540-01-491-1410 and this includes the belt/retractor and buckle.

I have a 2007 and when I pulled my hand pump apart the seals were okay but the backing ring was in about 6 pieces and very brittle. Pump was still functional though.

    LMTV/MTV Workshop

Would be awesome. I'm in the midwest with all sorts of family obligations so I can't make it. When I was young, dumb and full of.....time. I'd be game.

Maybe an ECO hubs install. Maybe a tire swap. There are videos for those though.

Make sure to bring your ruler to discipline those wanting to run old tires 😄

Is that what FEDLOG does, or a different one?

You need an expansion tank. The crane lift structure is the large crossmember behind the cab with the large sliding arms that come out.

4an caps/plugs. Although if you take the adapters out I think you can use 1/4npt.

I do have to pump some as the cab lowers, else it will overflow. I stop pumping when latch is a couple inches from touching. Method has been working great for about 20 cab raises so far.

Yes it does, mine will lift the cab no problem as well as lower the tire. I'm running the stock unit-vented. No aop installed.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Haven't found the ability to start from 1st in the Allison DOC software. I don't really feel it's sluggish, just need the turbo to spool up then it takes off well but I don't have a lot of experience prior to eco hubs. At 30400lbs and eco last check was 6.5 mpg at 65mph. Agree with the exhaust...

What Did You Do With Your Aux Cooling System

In normal conditions it very reliably kicks on at 205. It could be a rate of rise..or trans temp..not sure and ultimatly I don't think it's very important. Maybe an MTV thing, but how much data do we really have of lmtv at 30.4k going wot up a steep hill in second? Just sharing my anecdotal...

What Did You Do With Your Aux Cooling System

Might be over the data bus as well. Not that it really matters.

What Did You Do With Your Aux Cooling System

I have it kick on well before 205f coolant temp when pulling a steep grade in second. I don't know the exact grade but the truck with 330hp will barely accelerate under full throttle. If I go a little faster and it's in 3rd it usually doesn't kick on until 205f. Makes me think it's seeing higher...

    Aligning Rod

They are ball joints, you don't burn them out. Midwest military offers a boot kit but it's sized wrong and completly worthless. MTP drivetrain had 115 kits left when I ordered mine. Boot size is great but the clamps were just a little small so I had to use safety wire to secure them. These...
