If you want to keep it stock that is great. I thought about it but cost was too much. One mod for safety is a duel master cylinder. Breaks have a duel circuit so if one wheel cylinder or line fails there is a second to stop the vehicle. Same as on modern vehicles. I have had break failure...
OK it is 383 green. I think the 11.00's look much better than the 9.00's. They fill the fender wells and have plenty of room. Unless someone really knows they will never notice they are not stock. The radial also ride so much better.
RE: Re: RE: New style light switch issue?
I have one of the take out rebuild. No ground wire. It works ok. What I don't like is that if you do not turn it off it has a light that stays on and drains the battery. On the three lever switch if I left it on it did not run down the battery.
I noticed today my oil leak is getting worse. I assume that it is the front crank seal because oil is running down from ther onto the oil pain to the front axel. Have not really looked close. Are there any oil lines in that area of the motor? How hard is it to change out the seal? Does the...
BFR I can't find hangers anywhere. I want them if the offer is still good. Let me know when you get them pulled. I got my 16.00 20's today. they are really big. My 9 year old is only about 6" talller than the tires.
I am getting some tires for the project 16.00 20's. Which tred pattern would work the best? They are huge but will fit with some faberacation. Will be used for both on and off road. No major mudding, unless I can find a hole.
I aligned mine myself. used a nail in a 2X4 to scribed a line around both tires then used a tape measure to get them the same and towed the front in less than 1/16". works good.
Death wabble. Check the tires and balance. M725 did the same until I changed the NDT's, 40 years old, to MICH XZL's. My M35 was ok until I had a flat. Put the lockring back on lined with the valve stem, Shimmy was bad. Rotated the lockring oposit of the valve stem and fixed the problem.
