When I got the truck it had been sitting for some time. Turned over 5 or 6 times and started. Changed the fluids and have been driving it. About 2,000 miles so far. Today when I went to town it started fine. Turned over 2-4 times. When I got home and went to move it took 10 to 20 second of...
Everty time I drive. Habbit. They work. Never know who will pull out in front of you. Most drivers are awe struck with the truck and just pull out looking at it. Also carry the kids and it is not an option. Never have had a problem with them not wanting to wear one.
Mine also has the seatbelt attached to the seat and then a short seatbelt strap from the seat to the cab behing the seat. There is also a sleve that goes through the cab support that the belt bolt goes through to keep from crushing the cab support.
I had not measured the axels yet so was not sure if front U bolts would work. I would like to get started however with out the hangers I am not going to start on it. I have been driving it almost daily working the bugs out so when I bob it I will not have too many problems left to fix.
I have some 10 hole combat 10 X 20 rims I was planning on traiding for some 16.00 20's. Keeping my cost down. I would like to run the 14.00 or 395's but cash is tight.
I am bobbing my truck. Bought front springs. They were to have the hangers and shackles, however the hangers were torch cut. Anyone have a set of front hangers they are willing to let go.
Will the U bolts from the rear work on the front springs?
I need to know how long, wide, tall and how much a goat weighs.
I think I have found one but need the info to plan the trip home.
Any body with a pic of one would help also.
What needs to be done for the 16.00 20's to fit on a bobbed truck. Just rims? Cab Lift? Bed Lift?
Or would it be eaiser to go with 14.00 or 395 X 20's.
I really like the mirrors. I have the brace from the head to the lower hinge on the passenger side. No brace on the driver’s side. I think the passenger side vibrates more than the driver’s side. Both together vibrate less than the West Coast style I have seen.
