RE: Re: RE: CDR valve from NAPA questions and other tune up
That's my thought... I edited my post on the FAQ thread with the GM number. I'll change it again to add the correct NAPA number (if there is one) when it is posted.

RE: Re: RE: CDR valve from NAPA questions and other tune up
Just as an FYI, I checked the HMMWV TM and it lists the same GM part number as the CUCV, (25042462)
I'm guessing it's a military thing for some reason.

RE: Re: RE: CDR valve from NAPA questions and other tune up
And that number crosses in my book to an 86 GP2, 3 (454W).... I'm guessing the 454 is a typo.

It's my understanding that the sulphur is not the lubricant, but the process that removes the sulphur also strips the lubricants from the fuel...

RE: Re: RE: CDR valve from NAPA questions and other tune up
According to my GM manual, 250442248 is a CDR valve for an 85-6 C/K 1,2,3 6.2 and 25042462 is a CDR valve for an 85 GP2,3 6.2
So according to my manual, the first is for the trucks and the second is for the vans... interesting. I...
RE: Re: RE: CDR valve from NAPA questions and other tune up
The TM lists it as part# 25042462. I cross referenced that in my 1985 GM Truck parts manual and it is the correct GM part number.

A hard to turn ignition switch is probably not the lock cylinder, but the linkage that runs down the top of the column to the electric switch.

I was looking at that one... the engine is missing, but the transmission and T-case are there.
It's interesting that it has the single front and dual rear... haven't seen that before. All the A3s I've seen had the proper front wheels too.

I'm not a big fan of black... too hot in the summer. I'm personally leaning towards the tan... Canvas is an option if I can find someone to do the upholstery work on the front buckets and middle seat.

You have to print it out and sign it, then you can either scan and e-mail it or fax it in.
And the EUC must be completed before you are invoiced.

And that reason is because there's only one turbo outlet so they can either do big single or make a reverse Y to do the duals.
Of course, I'm not going to get into the nice crimps that the factory puts in the downpipes though...

I'm building a CUCV clone Suburban and was wondering if I could solicit some opinions about which interior color to go with.
The truck was originally grey with grey interior. I am painting all metal components in the interior with 383 green, but I'm trying to decide what to do for the 'soft'...
Most times it depends on if the vehicle is turned in as operational or not. In addition, each site does their own thing with regards to interpretation of the EPA rules. Some leave the fluids in complete vehicles, some drain them because they are 'unserviceable'. If they are residue vehicles...
Re: RE: CDR valve from NAPA questions and other tune up ques
We won't know until tomorrow or next week depending on if NAPA gets his order in a timely manner or not.

Tempered is the type in the side windows... the tempering causes it to shatter into the little cubic pieces all over the place. It is NOT acceptable for windshield glass.

RE: Re: RE: trucks
If you look closely, there is a gun ring on the roof... the extended cab is probably to make enough room for the mount and gunner to stand.

Yes, you can do the fluid changes while you wait for the EUC...
You can rebuild the engine and transmission, paint the truck and hand stitch a new interior while you wait for the SF97
