Did you paint the inside of the bed too? If so, that should be the same amount I need for the Suburban. Thanks, Joe

No Longer a 1st Time Painter - Thanks for the Help!

I thought your 816 was pretty nice? Now MY 816 is a different story. Maybe we should have an 816 painting day... LOL Just a question, how much paint did you use to paint your 1008? I'm going to be painting my Suburban soon and would like to know how much to order. Later, Joe

Gasser value (Now home w/ new pics...)

No, he's not even a MV fan... he was storing the truck for a guy who had a stroke and disappeared 6 years ago. He was just selling the truck to get it off of his property. Later, Joe

LOL, I forgot to add that I figured out the headlight issue... the right headlight panel is not bolted down, it is just sitting in there. He put it up in place when I came by to look at it, but on the way home it fell back down. Later, Joe

Then he should have turned down the job. It sucks when a business owner takes your money and doesn't give you what you asked for. Later, Joe

    CUCV light switch

It should not move up unless you pull the switch out to disengage the lock. Pull out the right hand B/O light switch and move it up. It should stay in the up position. Then check your lights. You can turn a turn signal on so that when the switch works, the signal will start to flash. Later, Joe

Gasser value (Now home w/ new pics...)

Just submitted my paperwork to the state to get the title. Should have it back in 30 to 45 days. They have to try to find the previous owner, which won't be easy since he had a stroke 6 years ago, and if he isn't found within 30 days, they'll send me the paperwork to send in my $250 bond for the...

Gasser value (Now home w/ new pics...)

Today I was digging through the map compartment and found a laminated paper that was obviously used for shows. It says that the truck was last assigned to a USMC Air unit at Lowry AFB in Denver. I was considering changing out the USMC markings for Air Force markings, but now I'm not sure if I...

    Gasser Deuce

Look into MO's laws concerning transfer of ownership of a vehicle that old. They may accept just a bill of sale or you may have to bond for it. Call the main DMV headquarters in the capitol rather than talking to the pinheads at the local branch because they probably don't know. I'd say save it...
