UHaul dollies are only rated for a 30x9.50/15 tire so the straps won't fit. You might not even be able to get the Blazer between the fenders of the dolly.
If it slave starts, you might be better off driving it with a trail vehicle or towing it with a strap if the brakes work since it's only 6...
It is a piece of AGE Equipment and I think its designation is NF2 light cart. The pictured one is an older unit that has a gasoline powered Onan 2.25KW generator. The one on White Owl's site is a newer unit that uses diesel.

I'll second that as being a homebrew light trailer either by the military or once out of the service. It looks like they took the lights and scissor unit from the unit below (which is not good for use off road) and mounted it to that power plant (which is).

LOL, No... A whiffle tree is a bar that attaches to the tow rings on a military vehicle so that the wrecker can lift it. Do a search and you can find pics.

Those straps are 20' 18K rated nylon tow straps. I'm looking for some true sling straps, but I haven't gotten any yet. Luckily, my 816 came with those big 24k lb clevises that are connecting the straps to the hook.
I didn't go through the roof because I didn't want chance the truck slipping on...
I unloaded the CUCV from the trailer today with the 816. After some repositioning to get the '09 closer so it wouldn't swing into the wrecker and the wrecker so the feet would sit flat, everything went pretty smoothly.
My 816 has a leak around the shaft of the hoist winch hydraulic motor. I looked in the TMs but can only find how to remove the motor, but nothing about how to disassemble it and replace the seal.
Is there a separate TM for the crane?
Thanks,
Joe
RE: rear battery
Yep, that would be your problem, the small red cable is supposed to run from the back negative or front positive to deliver 12V to the truck.

One more new development in the CDR saga... I just went and looked at my two 1009s that I got from GL and they both have CV871 valves on them. The valve also has 25042443 stamped on it.
I replaced the valve on my Suburban with one of the valves from the '09s and the mount is clocked a little...
