    Best Water Pump for Replacement?

Peninsular Diesel went bankrupt last year. If I were you I would get one of those OEM units from Eastern Surplus. Or if you want/need more flow, spend a few extra bucks and get a FlowKooler. That’s what I installed on my P400. Just my 2 cents.

What do I need to remount hmmwv tires with the beadlock and runflats?

I used RTV to hold the O-ring in place while the outer rim was torqued down. RTV seemed to work better than Super Glue, which the previous owner had used and made a mess and had to be chipped out with a sharp screwdriver. Let us know how that McMaster O-ring fits.

    Cab roof insulation

Has anybody come up with a way to insulate the open void space in our trucks cab roofs? It seems we spend a lot of time, money and effort insulating the floor and firewall but never do anything with the cab roof. Thanks in advance for your replies.

How do you get the most horsepower out of a 6.2?

Money. All it takes is money. And plenty of it. And the ability to release that large sum of money without trepidation or guilt. And an understanding wife. And a successful career. And realistic goals. And patience. And quality tools. And dedication with a desire to think outside the box.

Rich, a mechanical water temperature gauge could be the most important instrument in your truck. Here is the gauge I am installing in my M1028 - https://www.autometer.com/2-5-8-water-temp-120-240-f-6-tubing-mech.html

    Project m1010

The correct TV cable is AC Delco 25515599. 36.1" long. The correct 700R4-to-NP208 tall adapter is GM 14038663 to fit on the standard CUCV crossmember. Not sure about that "W" crossmember, or if your NP241 is different. The 14038663 is 1-piece all cast, however I have heard that you can also...

optimizer long block - hummer 24V or cucv 24v

Rich - glad it’s running. I recommend you consider mechanical oil pressure and water temperature gauges to eliminate any possibility of error. And yes I agree that the thermostat is not opening. Is it possible that it got installed backwards?
