    Hydrolocked, big repair ahead.

Well time for surgery. If the block is busted then time to shop for a GEP longblock. If the short block is ok (unlikely) you could put GEP heads on it.

    Hydrolocked, big repair ahead.

The GM 6.2 and 6.5,doesn’t have coolant in the intake manifold. Sounds like what happened is a fastener of some type fell into the intake port while he was running it open and got ingested and busted the head and piston.

Price of a full frag 6 armor kit

Not really sure why I would want to turn a nimble warrior into a clutzy heavy slug that can be defeated with a coke bottle some gas and a rag. But that’s just me.

    Got my m246a1 (reaper) home!

Looks like only the brake backing plates were swapped, not the entire axle. The main data plate says M246, manufactured by International. I do believe that truck is a 1950's manufactured truck that originally was gas.

    m917 won't shut down.

Next time it hangs up, reach under the dash and pull the connector off the ignition switch, if it kills the engine you need a new switch!

    In tank fuel pump

Way too much current being drawn by the pump, if it burns up, well having a fire in a fuel tank cannot be good.

    LED Headlights for LMTV

I put JW Speaker military LEDs in all 3 of our FD LMTVs and everyone loves them. About $150 each on ebay from time to time. Flawless.

Isn't there supposed to be a rubber bushing here?

There is no rubber bushing between the military wrap leaf and the eye leaf.

Is it true of all the slews of bugs that the deuce has?

That motor LDS427 had head gasket problems.

Is it true of all the slews of bugs that the deuce has?

The one bug the multifuel trucks have is a tendency to throw rods. No rhyme or reason why.

Code 71 engine speed sensor circuit low

If you are 100% certain you have good bubble free clean plentiful fuel flow to the ip and unrestricted return lines, and If you are 100% certain you have uninterrupted 24 volts to the ip, And your ip is over 10 years old, it's time for an overhaul.

Code 71 engine speed sensor circuit low

Sure. You said: " I already checked gas tank, fuel lines from tank to pump to filter (put in a new filter) and return lines. All are good with clean gas. " Knowing this, the symptoms you describe (stalling, no power, sometimes idles bad) are those of a failing injection pump.

    My first multifuel?

The heads are interchangeable. If you buy a used one, have it checked for flatness.

Code 71 engine speed sensor circuit low

    Your injection pump is shot.

Code 71 engine speed sensor circuit low

The injection pump solenoid has to get 24 volts for the engine to stay running. The circuit powering this solenoid is completely unrelated to any circuits related to the 4L80E.

    My first multifuel?

For sure 1964. For sure M543A2. Maybe USA number of 5D6804 (interpolated) Data snip from Carnac's Historical Thread. EDIT: I didn't look closely enough at the database earlier.

    My first multifuel?

Oh I like that machine you have there, like a Swiss Army knife. We don’t have anything like that in the US.
