Has anyone compared the sound difference between the NAPA and the glass pack? Seams like the big NAPA would be quieter but I really like the look of the glass pack.
Can someone repost a PIC of the muffler install? Going to put one on my truck soon. I saw where a glasspack muffler was used. I really like the look but how much differance between the two.
If it is off road / farm use desiel it will be died red. Yes it looks red and not the regular tan yellow of on road desiel.
Most citys now use regular desiel and they get the tax back.
OK, I have not swapped beds over to see where it would fit. I haven’t even measured yet. Just trying to get an idea before I get started. I know you said you cut the driveshaft to fit. Someone else also talked about cutting the M35 bed down to fit but that seams like a lot of work.
How do...
Ok on the pic's I thought I had resized them. Hay I have very slow dial-up and got booted of several times. It takes almost 15 to 20 min's or longer to upload a pic. Ok for the petcock valve, don't know it was on there when I got the truck aboput 2 months ago. Ugly but it ran. Winch no...
Ok I looked real close yesterday. There is no Hobbs switch. The wire comes out of the wiring harness and goes straight to the light. There is a petcock on the side of the switch where the Hobbs switch should be. This would explain why the light stays on all the time.
Well from what was posted I thought it was there however on mine there is no switch with wires or at least I did not see one. There is another airline comming off going to the passenger side of the truck. I will get under the dash and try to trace down the wires. Maybe it got put somewhere else.
OK either i'm blind or something. Looked at the swich on the dash, no wire conections, nothing on the T-case where the airlines are. Where else could the switch be?
From what I can tell it is releasing, guess all the way. Turning is ok with no jerking and when pushing a tree the front did not turn when disenguaged but did spin when enguaged. Air appears to be dumping ok.
I have a 67 M35A2 that has an air lock for the front. The little red indicator light stayes on. I pushed a tree so I know that the axel is locking and unlocking, so why is the indicator light staying on.
Ok now, if someone works out a deal with him and there is a M715 left over I want it. I just don't have enought time or money to mess with them right now. 2000 miles away. From what he told me there are several trucks and parts trucks.
