Broke down two (of the ten) 1100 x 20 G177's off of five ton wheels that will go on my Deuce. One yesterday, one today. OMG, thats a lot of work. Wish I could afford to pay someone else to do it. I'm sure when I ever get to breaking down the ten 900 x 20's they'll be like bicycle tires compared...
Speaking of 1100 x 20's, just picked the ten Goodyear G177's I bought from fellow SS'r TacticalDoc.
Had a 6x12 open trailer reserved @ U-Haul, I get there @ 0900, two people ahead of me, both U-haul people are new, and their (All of U-hauls) computer system goes down.

Did some PM on Grounds, with a twist.
Removed the old R/H Alternator/headlight ground wires, and the L/H headlight/Black-out light Ground wires, drilled new holes and and built up stainless steel studs specifically for Grounding.
The way they Ground wires were, on top of the brush guard...
If you have some time, patience, and a way of supporting the the bolt, like in a "V" block, using a sharp chisel held parallel to the bolt you can come close to replicating the original raised ribs.
I have done this before with fairly good success.

What: Being able to edit all of your posts/ titles, and a requirement to add why your editing, not optional.
Also Edited text to be italicized, highlighted, etc.
Why: Sometimes we make mistakes and want to correct them, but cant.

It really depends on what that O-ring is made of.
I think the DOT 5, being Silicone based Is not as harsh on plastic/rubber like DOT 3. (Assuming it is DOT 5)
Not meaning it wont ever deteriorate rubber/plastic.
