I dont see how a stock ls engine is going to break half shalfs unless you are rough on it. Just driving it easy. I have a 65 stang i converted to a v8 with a stock 7 inch rear axle. Everyone said it will explode instantly... 500 million burnouts later. Its still together I bought a ford 9 inch...
I noticed the humvee top bow too. I think it was like 5 dollars only 400 miles away from house... Crazy to me too.. Humvee prices have gone crazy high for my area (within 400 miles) Who is buying these things? 30 + grand...
I removed my big wheel for a side mounted side winded jack. I guess I could of left the big wheel for extra stability while parked especially if loaded. Good idea. I used a weld on style on "a" part of the trailer right past the handle looking part.
What else is on this engine other than glow plugs and a starter? I dont see why this smart box has killed my humvee... I miss my deuce no smart box on it.. Never failed to start...
Pictures aren't very clear. Very few pieces on it aren't melted to a crisp. Did my bad alternator cause this?
I just bought a 85 humvee. alternator isnt charging I drove it about 10 miles ran great. The Smart start box got really hot and my humvee would not shut off. So I snuffed it out with a piece of plastic over the intake. I disconnected smart start box wiring hoping it would cool down and be fine...
