So if we follow along, 12V goes into A then it goes through the TC lockup solenoid, the inductor shunted by a protection diode (protects the 12V from high voltage spikes when the 12V is removed) THEN the solenoid is seeking ground to go into lockup, it goes to D where if you had an ECM (engine...
According to your schematic if you put 12V on A it will only lock in 4th, if you ground the ECM ground it will be locked all the time so don't do that.
It says good for GM and Ford transmissions CALLING for DEX III etc, it is not DEX III fluid, GM stopped licensing the name DEX III some time ago, not saying it is not the SAME as DEX III it just cannot BE DEX III
EDIT, as soon as the patents run out they change the formula and call it something...
You need to pick up the brake light signal under the dash at the switch, after that it goes through the turn signal switch and is useless for that purpose anywhere under the vehicle.
I have no idea why you would want to disable the TC lock under full throttle, on a long hill for example you...
Did not mean to pound on you, it just shocks me how many folks get a HMMWV especially out of DRMO and if it runs they just start driving it, then later wonder why they are having so many issues.
POST some pics!!

Still no reason not to change it tomorrow, not waiting on anything for that job, you have at least checked all the fluid levels including the hubs yes?
You should drain and replace ALL the fluids and filters, you have no idea how old any of the fluids are or even if any of the fluids are correct.
EDIT, this is CHEAP insurance that EVERY new owner should do as soon as they get their HMMWV, UNLESS it was just serviced by a credible experienced...
It only takes a few minutes to swap one out, surly you guys know someone local that has a 200A HMMWV.
I would be happy to test them, but of course there would be shipping involved.
The first thing I would do is drain and replace ALL fluids and filters, look carefully in the drain/fill plug holes of the diffs and hubs, they do not like moisture!!
Diesels do not have a throttle valve, totally different animals.
"A key function of blowoff valves is to prevent compressor surge, a phenomenon that would otherwise occur as the THROTTLE is CLOSED in a turbocharged engine. If the turbocharger's compressor wheel is spinning at high speed when...
Also it sits on top of the oil pump drive which would be powering the vacuum pump on the CUCV, YOUR HMMWV has no vacuum source so it has a mechanical "kickdown" cable to the 3 speed TH400 instead of a vacuum controlled servo like on the CUCV
I think we are talking about the RPM sensor and it is not needed unless it has a tach. NOT the oil pump drive, they are two separate things, yes you want to leave the sensor in place to keep water from infiltrating the oil pump drive.
But actually he was just curious what it was, he never said...
