Don't worry, I run my truck 80 miles to the NJ pines, run it off road allday in the mud and water up over the top of the tires and run it home another 80 miles. It is usually a 12 hour day for the truck and it runs great. Good luck and let us know how you make out!
The oil pressure swiitch is electrical, check the wire from the sender to the guage maybe there is a break. Also remove the panel and check the ground connection at the guage. The strap that secures the guage must make contact to make the reading correct. Isuspect the erratic readings are...
David, This was the first year we did not have an officiall water delivery truck. For the past 3 years I set up the 5 water stations on the course before the race and would break them down after the last runners pass. The weather was so nice I had the top off and the windshield folded down.
