Yes, I have read of others changing to a non-silicone product. However, DOT 5 is the required brake fuild for the deuce. DOT 5 is not compatable with any other fuild.
I do not understand how a vent bellow would improve the brake system. Your time and money would be better spend on a remote...
Well, one of the clamps came off the zippered boot.....
So need to do the following.
Install gasket on fuel pump.
Tighten fuel line hose
Check the gear oil on every thing
Need a heater motor
Need a gasket on the exhaust stack.
Need to get air wipers working
Oh and install my new tires
All this...
Are the bolts holding the gear box tight? There is four of them in front of drivers side tire.
You can jack up the front axle and feel the steering box by moving the wheels left and right.
3. Fuel gauge reads empty when power off, and all the time when the power is on it reads full. Most likely cause before I go chasing wires?
There is a guy i know who did a thread on the fuel gauge not working see if this helps.
