Sounds like maybe there is some cheap metals being used. On my setup for towing.,I have a military grade pintle hook that is attached to a riser hitch. I have never had any problems with twisting or bending whether it be under load or not. You might try a different setup.. Good luck.
Off topic. but there is one down the road from me for sale. I needs seats. Has a hole in roof for gun.The roof where the gun goes is sealed with a cover. Body is in pretty good shape. Has a clean MD title. He wants 25 grand for it if anyone here is interested.
Has anyone here attempted to make or customize the racks on a M101 in order to have more height? How about making a custom cover any experience?
