Actually 4 skid of 4 tires and 4 skids of 3 tires. I think the average price was about $300 - $365 a piece before shipping, sales tax and GL's 10%. That was the first bunch of tires I saw in a year on the site.2cents
...And people were bitchin when I asked $700.00 each for the 12 I own with 2003 date codes for unmounted on the skid Michelin 14 x 5 -20's. Guess I'm glad I didn't cut the side walls out and give em to the neighbor hood kids as sand boxes. I'll probably do that with the old cracky ones. At...

The alternator was $99.00, the pulley was off the shelf, smaller diameter and $14.00. I was able to use the top bracket after drilling a half inch hole in the end and locate it forward. I fabbed the bracket to locate the alternator so I could use the original...
And Here I go again...
Just a parting thought. All that trade with Chine, we created 300 million chinese millionaires.
Our politicians did create a whole bunch of jobs over the last 20 years, FOR THE CHINESE!
All that chinese military and space program build up is funded with the money they...
Great Thread!!!!!!
The plane and launch is fantastic but the discussion is the best!!!!!!
I like everything said about mortgaging their future so I won't rehash that.
Let's not forget the last 30 or so years of shifting or Mfg. base away to other continents by virtue of corporate-whore...
Wow, they run with flex plates, Cool!
Can't wait to ground hop my 2. One sez " ok runs" on the valve cover, we'll see.

Hmmm, about 30 years ago in the machine shop as an apprentice, I was told to go to the front office and fetch some maiden oil. I did not. I guess now I better go get some for the A3............fat lady sings
Thanks for the lawyer talk, I'm going to use that as well.
When I sell something that runs and drives, to the best of my knowledge in a safe and maintained manner, I will tell the potential buyer that for me I think it is safe but the buyer is on their own to know or have an experienced party...
I purchased a A3 rear axle for a rockwell project and after reading this thread I realized I would like to strip the A3 bearings and related stuff on the axle as spare parts for my A3 duece.
Will the A2 bearings fit the A3 axle and hubs?
Are the A3 front inner and outer axle bearings and the...
All I can say is it is a SCORE!!!
It''s worth what ever he's willing to sell it for and your willing to pay.
I wouldn't touch the paint on it as it is authentic and in my opinion, worth far more the way it sits ( with some new fabric and wood for the box) than all blasted and repainted.2cents...
What kind of tranny do I have in an '89 Dodge 350 5 speed 2 wheel drive with a Cummins diesel engine. It was low due to a seal and the speedo drive 1000 miles from home so I put 90 wt in it. Did I kill it? what is supposed to go in it. How do I identify it. I know I could go to the other forums...
Cool, now I know what it's called. I called mine lifty thingy.[thumbzup]
I might put it on my A3 so I can find me a gurl and get her lifted up in the truck fer a ride:D
Your truck has convinced me that Bobbed dueces can be good looking and functional. I like the duals look and the cut down bed and canvas top just look fantastic. Makes me almost want an A2 of late rebuild date just to do it just like your truck. I don't think my A3 would look quite as good as...
I would inflate the tires to 55 psi fir the long ride. Some have experienced tires disintegrating on the trip home. I think the 45 psi that the CTIS inflates the tires to is not enough for sustained highway driving.2cents
