Yea, you are probably right. The amperage for two series connected jump packs might tend to overload the cable as the current would have only one path to flow.
You can connect them like renovate7 says or you can connect the + of one jump pack to the - of the other pack (series) and then connect them + and - of jump pack to + and - of series connected batteries.
I put the motor oil straight in the gasoline and allow it to settle over night. It had been sitting in one spot for months so I figured that the worst gunk settled to the bottom, and I left the last cup in the jug. As for WVO (waste veg oil), yes, definitely filter it. I would filter it to at...
I have run a 50-50 gasoline used motor oil mix with no problems. You can also used waste vegetable oil in a diesel with no problems. And on the off chance you live near a commercial aircraft repair facility where you might get some contaminated jet fuel, Jet A jet fuel works fine in a diesel...
Re: RE: Hone, you got some splainin
Then maybe I'll go with the 46" tires and super single it. Where can I get wheels?
They only posted two pics of the first truck. The tarp is just pulled up for some reason.
A stuck fuel solenoid could do it. Give it a good rap with a screwdriver handle. Fuel starvation isn't bad, it is just a pain to get the engine running after the IP and injectors are full of air. Next time pull the air cleaner and choke the air off.
RE: Hone, you got some splainin
My current plans are to take the one in the best shape and put the winch on it and then to sell the others for money for wheels and 52" tires and a crew cab conversion.
Well, I've done it now. I just bought no1, not 2, not 3, but FOUR deuces from the GL lot in Smyrna, ten miles from my home. Mama just looked at me and ssked, "Where are we going to put them all?" To which I replied, "We have a big back yard. There is PLENTY of room." It's a good thing she...
Well, bring along plenty of tools and common parts and a credit card. I'll pray that your trip is nothing but boring.
Also, before you drive a truck not meant for the long haul 2000+ miles, consider locating and installing a springer seat from an old OTR truck. Your butt and back will thank...
It is going to cost you more than $1000 just in fuel, add in airline tickets, motels, parts, problems, tow bills, food, time away from work, etc and you are easily looking at $2000 to $2500. You sure you can't find someone to haul it for you?
I had a motorcycle gas tank with pinhole leaks from rust. First, I cleaned it thoroughly with hot soapy water and then rinsed. Then I used some naval jelly to remove the rust (I suppose you cold also use rust converter . Then I mixed up some fiberglass resin and poured it into the tank and...
I second the brake shoe adjustment. They are probably automatic adjusting brakes. Drive in reverse and then apply the brakes. Do this several times to adjust the brakes.
