Its not so much a compression issue, its the 'pre-chamber' issue. Being an indirect injection system, the fuel is not injected into the cylinder itself, therefore it doesnt get the compression heat on slower RPM's

If its in low, it MUST be in 4x4, with the way this t-case is designed.
if its not in low.... it would be in N (ie. if it kicked out of low) as its the next one in line.
Front wheels were not even attempting to spin?
If thats the case, you have a problem someplace.... Usual spot is a bad front hub... or one not 'really' locked.
Considering in the civvy world, I havent heard a 'ton' about this... Is it possible that the humvee/van style engine setup doesnt cool as well as the pickup engine?
If you look at the AC kit from ODIron, it puts the compressor under the passenger side alternator. Then if you remove the drivers side Alternator, you can find brackets that will fit the long style (A6?) compressor from the late 70's, which is supposed to be one of the best for using as an air...
do a little searching. I believe the volt meter has a resistor on the back for dropping the voltage down. If you remove it, its 12v....

Well, you will want all the gaskets involved with those parts that need to be swapped.
If you have an engine out of a 1008, use all the sending units from that engine
