Engine failure, rebuild, with turbo, jakes.

Haven't been working on this project much. Other things keep taking up my time. Got all the push tubes and exhaust cross tabs for the jake brakes. Now working on finding a good set of rocker boxes with matching jake brakes. One of my rocker boxes needs a rebuild and the set of jake brakes I got...

The big cam isn't excatly a drop in, but close enough for me. Especially since I want the power and reliability of the big cam. So the hassle of making it work far out weigh just rebuilding the nhc250. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Only paid $1500 for the complete Bigcam 400. Couldn't come close to that rebuilding the nhc250, then add a turbo, more power. The small cam is to nortourios for eating cam shafts. Not worth dropping 3-4k on that engine. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

The data plate is missing from the engine. Fortunately the PT pump has the cpl #449. So I have a Big Cam II ntc400. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

    4L80E question

Nothing wrong with a manual valve body, but honestly if you drive the vehicle often, manually shifting an automatic will probably get old after a while. Now for controllers of you choose to go that route. I went with TCI. Nothing wrong with other controllers, I liked the easy installation, has...

    4L80E question

Yes a 4l80e will bolt up. I did it on my CUCV. You will need an adapter for the np208. Fabtech sells them. You can use the turbo 400 flex plate. The shifter location is farther back. You will need to drill new holes in your frame to move the shifter mount back. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
