Just found the TM scouring the internet for info .went as far as calling meritor rockwell and AM general for more info on the axles ,everyone was helpfull but had no specs anymore.

I ordered the pto new from Chelsea Parker with the options I wanted . It's the 221R housing which fits easier can find the part number if it helps anyone .

That is not correct ,you can do a direct pump mount PTO on a 931 and air shift

I was looking at the same thread re: shocks and for me it crossed to a Gabrial 85329 which has comparable compresion specs but has twice the extension resistance 1500lbs hopeing it will take some of the bounce out of my front end.

I think all the parts are available ,you would not need the whole kit because you already have air brakes.the parts list is on this thread.

Would never expect you to make that change just putting it out there if it can help anyone else . On the wheel studs I think in the old trucks they though centrifical force would keep the nuts from spinning of if they became loose, I haven't made the change because of the expense. On the grease...

I have been able to put outboard drums on A1 axles with some minor machining of the hub .

Should have worded it differently ,would be interested to see the listing .Could not find it.
