Maybe all his stuff comes with some hidden gold nuggets. Just guessing.

Well, no! $14K is far from realistic. My offer would be $6.5K.

This is the difference between one-off production by CUCVRUS and mass production.

Improvement of the rear wheel arches - M1009 / Chevrolet Blazer K5 Diesel

Clean it, seal it with fluid film and you are good to go. There will always be mud, dirt and every sort of grime in these areas. That is normal. Clean it once every year and spray some fresh Fluid film on and you will have no issues at all.

    Mysterious M1009 part. Sincgars bracket?

Guyfang, we are getting close. Appreciate your support. I still don’t see it in the TMs. There is a some sort of similar bracket shown in the TM that’s mounted on the dash bracket. But it is different to the bracket shown in my pictures. Maybe I should sell this bracket to a military museum -...

    Mysterious M1009 part. Sincgars bracket?

Thanks a lot, Guyfang. Still no match. Maybe I should sell this bracket as very unique special item - only produced once for a secret mission.

    Mysterious M1009 part. Sincgars bracket?

Thanks! The bracket I have is different - see pictures. Although the part number is the same as mentioned in the other thread. And the bracket does not fit the radio bracket on the dash.

trapezoidal plate under the canister holder - M1009 / Chevrolet Blazer K5 Diesel

You can mount the jerrycan holder wherever you want so that it fits but drilling holes in the floorboards is never a good idea.

trapezoidal plate under the canister holder - M1009 / Chevrolet Blazer K5 Diesel

This bracket or mounting plate is part of the floor board and welded on the floor board. I don’t think you will find the plate to buy separately unless someone cut it out of a M1009.

    M1009 Little Red Riding Hood.

Health always comes first. Don't worry, this is not a race. No one rushes you. I like the quad shocks to be honest. This is a heavy engine. But you are right. This is not a stock build on a M1009. I think they used the quad shocks on civilian K5 Blazers. Do as you like it the most. This is your...

I agree. This is what makes the difference between a good job and a great job. You do a great job and never forget to have fun with it. It’s a hobby and hobbies should make you happy. Setbacks are here to learn and to think about what we do and how we could do better next time. No setbacks no...

Do you drive your CUCV in the winter salt?

Never had, never will. Get a daily driver for the salty seasons and don’t preserve your CUCV with whatever is there on the market. There are hundreds of areas where you won’t get any oil or fluid on unless you disassemble the truck. And this is exactly where salt will eat up your truck alive. If...

"Handles" for rear side windows, anyone know what goes there? - M1009 / Chevrolet Blazer K5 Diesel.

The stock M1009 did not come with sliding windows. They are an aftermarket modification and not a very good one. Change them to stock windows and your problem is solved. There are some hardtops with intact windows for sale in Germany. Easy fix. Change the seals too and you will never look back.
