Looking at the photos I have found of the M2 it does look like it. I wonder why no ID on the winch at all! The only marking on it is the oil level noted?

The attached photos are of a winch I rediscovered while changing storage units. I am not sure where it came from of if it is even military in origin, any help on the ID is appreciated. There are no markings on it that I can see except for the oil level marking script? James

I have watched GSA and the other surplus sites but the good heavy duty machines with the long reach I need always go really high, I am now watching Market Place on FB but the little manual machine is looking better and better!

Thanks, but back in March I was contacted by a guy in Florida who had the frame but no windows! I drove 3200miles, but I now have windshield frame, frozen but a decent frame! Now on to find a good diagram of the passenger seat!

For the tires to fit, I had to lift the CUCV three inches. I have toyed with the idea of fabing up some spacers for the trailer body to compensate but it looks like the juice is just not worth the squeeze!

I have three stencil machines in storage, I just have to find them! The big one is easy to find but it is the size of a card table and weighs a ton. the two smaller font ones are in hiding!

I have 37.5 tires on my M1008A1 and the standard tires on my M101A2. The trailer is significantly lower than my CUCV, so I tried the 37s on the trailer. The look is better but the change only raised the trailer by about 3/4 of an inch, I expected more! Any way, they fit fine, no rubbing...
