New again. Not new to SS but new truck, so I'm back

I've been out of the military truck world for a few years but a recent purchase puts me right back in the middle of it. I purchased an M936a2 through GP, what feels like years ago and finally got the paperwork approved. Picked up the lil girl yesterday from DE National Guard. The Sgt said...

Let me know if I can help you transport your newly purchased Humvee or equipment. GP is selling a ton of Humvees out of New Jersey. I can provide transport to you or to save you money, I can trailer them off base to my yard to give you time to drive it home. Feel free to e-mail me...

    M939a2 PTO pump removal

I searched the site and the TMs, I can't find the info. Removing the trans mounted PTO and it won't budge. I have the center bolt out, two bolts on the sides towards the top of the PTO out and two nuts and washers off the studs towards the bottom. Is there a 6th I'm missing somewhere? I...

Proper procedure for filling 8.3 engine oil

I've been looking over the TMs and have not been able to find the procedure for filling the engine with oil. I see the air valves that say open prior to filling. Is that all? Open the breathers and fill, close breathers, run engine? thanks!

Reminder: Heavy braking can cause stall

I was lucky enough to have this happen and experience it without any issues. A while back I recall reading a post one of the users here wrote about practicing heavy braking to see the effects of ABS and non-ABS trucks. So I did it on our farm on a dirt road and was not able to get the truck...

    932a2 Intake Stack

Can you please identify the (3) ports in the intake stack? I'm re-routing the intake stack from the outside of the cab corner to behind the cab because I've hit several trees in narrow trails and would like to protect the cap. I pulled the stack and air filter-to-stack pipe and noticed the...

    Thanks to jcappeljr

Many thanks to John. I made the trip this morning to purchase the 14' drop side box he had for sale. He was quite welcoming and was willing to show me a few of his modified trucks so I would have a better idea of which direction I wanted to take my truck. And most importantly, he was ready...

Time frame for title/Papers from GL

I submit the SF97 online about 4-5 weeks ago and haven't recieved anything from GL yet. Wondering what the "average" time frame for a vehicle's paperwork to be processed. Is there any way to check the status like EUC's? thank you!

    5-ton Exhaust diameter

The M932A2 I picked up from GL did not have a turn out tip/muffler extension. I'm interested in straight piping the truck just for weekend fun and was wondering if anyone knew off hand the pipe diameter. My truck isn't close and I was going to try to pick up some exhaust piping prior to going...

    1991 M932A2 crank pulley

I was looking over/inspecting the M932 and noticed the belt was out of alignment and quite shredded. After looking a little closer I found a weighted, ribbed pulley setting on the frame section behind the winch. Wondering if anyone can take a look to see if the crank pulley is suppose to be...

    Titling MV in NJ

I just got my M932A2 from GL and wondering if NJ requires a SF97 or not to title the vehicle. I've heard and seen several different stories but I'm looking for someone's personal experience. Thanks for the help.

New here, I hope I got the 'right' truck: M932A2

So I finally bit the bullet/won an auction on GL.com. Ended up getting myself an M923A2 in DE. I went with the auto trans because I'm a below the knee, left leg amputee and figured an auto would be one less thing for me to worry about on the road trips. Hopefully I got the "right" vehicle for...
