    Split Ring Tire Change

For the last week I have been working on changing the 9.00s for 11.00s on one of my trucks. It was slow going at first. I thought I would comment on what I learned so far. I searched for info on how to do it and talked with my father to make it happen. #1 Get a duckbill/tire hammer. It...

    Dewinterization of Deuce

I parked my deuce in September when I left for New Mexico. I am in the process of buying a house and I needed to get it running again so I can move. Chalking it and not using the E brake is a good idea. Mine was making noise and I left it off for the winter. The batteries are very...

    Best Way to Prevent Rust?

I recently moved back to northern Ohio after leaving for a job seven years ago. Before I left I had a Cutlass that I scraped and painted the underside every summer. It was also rustproofed in the doors and quarters when it was restored. The car was showing signs of rust when I sold it. My...

    Too Much Fuel?

The new engine is in and running. I took it out today and it hits 1100 on the pyro on a slight incline unloaded. I hit a good hill, I don't know the grade but it is around 1,000 to 1,500 feet in elevation in about 3 miles or so. It is a good hill. I was approaching 1200 on the pyro in 5th...
