Well it was cold here at 19 degrees, I didn't loose power but when I went to check out the generator an start it up the hinges on the front cover were frozen. Had had to pour hot water on the hinge to get it open, I guess I'll cover it tonight just encase I need it tonight. That won't happen...
Hello, I am looking to buy a 1946 CJ2A jeep, the guy says it has a rear main leak. What would be involved in replacing the seal? Is it a difficult repair? Would I need to remove the trans?
Thx
Wanted to get a license plate for my 803 that's mounted on a PU 798 trailer, after all the time and money I spent and for as little as I am going to tow this thing on the streets I would have been better just paying the ticket if I got pulled over. Lessons learned!
I have a 803 on a PU-798a trailer and I am trying to identify what this is in the picture and what is it used for. I searched the very long TM on the trailer but it was not mentioned. I've had this unit almost a year and haven't noticed it that square box, on the back side it is not connected to...
Ok, I know that if I am running my 803 that's on the trailer that it came with and I am connected to my house that I remove the bond from the nuetral to ground and it wired to use the house ground. I also know if I am using the 803 as a stand alone say with 120 volts and extension cords out in a...
This seems obvious to me but I may be wrong. My 803 fuel gauge shows full all the time with power and when the unit is off. It does move at all anytime. To me that seems like a bad gauge. What do you think?
Looks like I'm going to get to use my 803 for the hurricane, my question is if I run it out of fuel by mistake will it self prime and restart? Or is there something I need to do to get it running again?
Does anyone know the name of this shelter or container? It cranks up and the tag says cargo bed cover type Iva1. I can't read the rest of the info. I'd like to purchase one!
Hello, I need to paint a generator green with the Behr paint, Home depot doesn't know when their paint will go on sale, can this be a thread when the paint from Home Depot goes on sale this summer somebody will let us know? I hate to have to pay full price for this stuff!!
Thanks
Ok I have been searching for an hour and I can not find what size the fitting is for the auxiliary fuel connection on the 803. I believe I read is was an AN fitting but don't remember the size! Any help?
Thanks
I would like to have my 803 up and running for this winters outages, the problem is I need a voltage regulator. I have a guy that thinks he can fix mine but he's had it for 3 months. I've been looking around and have got quotes from $450 to $1,400 dollars. Tried to buy one used but I was a day...
I need to power a 12volt DC motor for a cord reel that I want to mount on my 803 with trailer. Can I take 12volts from one of the batteries on my unit?
Ok, I have no power at the lugs, here's what I have done:
this unit is a tier 2 reset with 600 hrs, has fuse mod and just quit putting out power
Unit running
Am/Vm switched to L3,L1 Single phase
Reconnection switch 120/240 1 phase
flipped ac interrupt switch to closed, green light comes on
Hertz...
I'm new to diesel generators but I have been reading a lot here. I acquired an 803 and started checking it out. I saw this unit running and putting out power and being used several months ago. Owner said it just quit putting out power and he was not going to mess with it.
Here is what I have...
For some reason someone replaced part of the small braided fuel line from the tank to the engine. it's part braided and part rubber hose and the replaced part is a larger size with a plastic tee. the tee is capped but the other end of the does not fit well into the braided hose. So the question...
