Changing Head gaskets and dual EGT gauge test program

First of all, I would like to acknowledge many people for their sharing of their experiences in doing the head gaskets and also specifically CRANETRUCK a.k.a. Bjorn for his pioneering efforts in understanding and properly maintaining a Multifuel engine. Bjorn was out there long before most of us...

Wheel cylinders, change one, or all? I say ALL

Hey everyone; I just finished changing the last two of my wheel cylinders on my deuce. I wanted to post this simply to point out that if you find one that is either leaking or is in tough shape, I would suggest you change them all. Let me tell you what i found. On all of my wheel cylinders...

    muffled the roar

I installed a DYNOMAX 24216 race muffler on my deuce on the advice of our JATONKA and I am extremely pleased with the results. Noise levels are considerably tamed. A deuce will not ever be a "quiet truck" but at least now I can carry on a conversation in the cab at road speed. One nice aspect...

My M35A2C with S280, and S250 on trailer

Here is a pic of my deuce with an S280 on the back. Don't worry, the straps are going in lieu of the proper cable hold downs. The trailer is carrying an S250 set up for emergency communications. The trailer is an extremely heavy duty Generator trailer and although non military is built very much...

Proper operation of a deuce, while enjoying a cup of Joe

Hey, I got my deuce on the road here in the "EVIL" empire state and was wondering where to put the cup holder? Seriously recreational deuce driving should not be hampered by a lack of proper personal consumables such as coffee. With the bench seat on the right side there is simply no place for a...

    Proper maintanence of Optima batteries

I scored two heavy duty Optima type batteries for my M35A2C at a VERY RIGHTEOUS PRICE and I have managed to install them into the battery box and have shimmed them (structural foam) so they are not moving around. Now the question is this: Should I use a Solargizer on these? I am not sure this...

new member, not new to MV's though

This is a great resource I must admit. I just acquired an M35A2 at GOV LIQ. and I am revisiting my past. Years ago, we had a ranch, and we used an M211 for hauling all sorts of stuff and it was the "Big Beast" to my kids. We also had a couple of M38's over the years, one with virtually no rust...
