I did this in summer here in Norwest WA. A maintenence friend gave me used tires. I made a bead breaker out of a vw jetta bumper and changed them all to singles. I like them for height and rpm loss at 60 mph. Power stayed same to me. Tire and wheel weight is about the same (believe it or not)...

I was going to try putting a 6x6 (haha) steel bumper on the ol m35. I think it might be ok, maybe cut it out more for the hitch that I never use though..

These worked pretty good on the M35. The lights are par 64 1000 watt halogen 28 volt. The cans are cut down stage lights that smelled like cigarette smoke. I used a 12v starter relay off first battery and put a rocker switch by the front diff lock in cab. Lights are 500000 lumens each. 70 amp...

Just put one on. Hot wrench and welding required. Tried to make it clean w no frills.

Removing and cleaning old bolts. Took off the door jam mount tube. Might just plate the door jam instead. What was it for? It would make a great flag holder.... Rick G
