    That sounds good. I'll have to see if my Deuce has the notches. I have the same problem, trying to swing my knee sideways between the wheel and the door. Knees are not hips, though: they only bend one way.

    Now we're cooking. How do the pedals adjust? I assume you readjust a stop underneath and then readjust free play. That and a thinner seatback cushion might do the trick.

    My Deuce has the spring seat and, from the various threads I searched, the box seat offers more legroom. On one of those threads, someone asked if you can swap the passenger bench and the spring driver's seat. That would definitely give a bit more leg room. The question was not answered...
