That is what I did. The problem was strong warm wind would cure the paint before I could tip. Probably needed to thin it more. But for me, it is good enough
Hi, nope. Brushed it cutting 10% water, brush/roll and tip. Not perfect. Some places you can see brush marks, some places none. Expensive brushes make a difference as does technique.
My 1151a1 paint job survived the dfw storm. I decided to put our cars in the garage and put the 51 outside. Figured it could handle the hail better. But we were in the middle of prepping the doors for paint so had to put them back together and hang them.

Well, we decided on the behr treatment. FS686 desert tan. Filled in all the holes with bolts, pressure washed inside and out, put dtm primer on the new metal and scrapped and applied to all the corroded metal.
