What did you do to your deuce this week?

I sold my 1968 to a good home, great truck, I am sure he will both improve and enjoy it. Down to the 1971 and I have guys wanting to buy it. Hard to think about being deuceless again....

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I was dumping some engine containers we bought at Riley and one of them had a freshly rebuilt 3053A transmission in it, sweet deal! New seals, new zerks, all sealed in plastic, my 71 has been needing a transmission for a year, maybe I will find time to do the swap soon.....

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Changed out three fuel filters on my 68, they were beyond nasty. I suspect some of the fuel I have been burning out of the salvage trucks is less than good, probably should not be using it at all, but the price is free.....

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I drove mine to the old guys table at the local restaurant. When I got home I stripped off some winch cable and sprayed the drum and cable with chain lube. I rolled the cable back on and sprayed the outer layers. I swapped out all three fuel filters and did a level check. No leaks, every thing...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Drive one 70 miles with no ear plugs and you will be talked out of it.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I fixed the flame heater leak on one of the 1970 trucks I had and sold it two days later. A guy from Junction City Kansas now has the nicest driving deuce I ever drove. I think it was the singled out GoodYear 1100 20 G286 tires that made the big difference. Anyway, he got a very nice truck...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Talked to the local tattoo guy/mural painter about doing some "nose art"... turned on the water valves so the heater might work, replaced inner and outer rear axle seals on the 71, flange gaskets and repacked the bearings with Mobil 1 bearing grease, adjusted the air pressure, put on a new left...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I fixed two cut instrument panel wiring harnesses. Bled the brakes on two trucks, one was a waste of time as it had a weak flex line, which I replaced, but the master cylinder leaks and the air pack vents brake fluid. I have a new master cylinder coming, the air pack I am not so sure about. I...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Good luck!! I fixed the park brake on one, fuel gauge on another, and rebuilt the instrument cluster wiring harness on one. Added a quart of Marvel Mystery oil, trying to help a sticky governor. Looking forward to the next two! Glen

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I gave a van loaded with scrap a 50 foot shove. One of the guys at the yard blocked my M 105s in with it. It was kind of fun in a distorted way. Van had no tires and now has badly bent back doors. It was crusher fodder anyway. Did a little plowing though. 8^)

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Installed Gimpy's alternator on my truck, hopefully he does not repossess it!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Stopped by "longshot" today and bought some solvent and sealer for my top. It has a couple of small tears. I plan to cut up a flap off of one of my 105 trailers for a patch. I think I will double it at the bows if the stuff works correctly.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

My M1008 scaled at 8220 today, myself, some tools, some liquids, two white shepherds and 6 deuce tires and wheels on board. I changed out the two odd ball tires on the rear axle, an old Armstrong "Rhino" and another old Denman. They were hard, well seasoned! I was going to swap out some of the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I braved the Wal Mart parking lot and held my own, no new damage to the deuce or cars on the lot. I jokingly asked the guy in the tire service bay if he could balance my tires and wheels in the next 20 minutes. He said "You gotta be kidding" I set him at ease with a "Yes I am" I pulled six new...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

At the drum, backed off the handle first. Should be good for a couple of years now. Shoes look new still.. Aired up the tires today. I plan to replace four tires tomorrow.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I fixed my horn earlier in the week. I changed the primary filter, bought some filter gaskets. I have spares if somebody needs some. Last night it got new rear axle seals. I adjusted the emergency brake......
