I had to register my deuce as commercial (but for non commercial use) and pay tonnage on it, because the office at the Lakewood Town center had never done a MV before.
I had gone to the Lakewood Town Center tag office, they were not familiar with anyone registering MV's as historic I ended up paying for commercial plates with a "non commercial use disclaimer" the lady there said she could not do historic on my Deuce because it weighed to much. I knew better...
eh Dan it's hit and miss, I did get my M1008 from Lewis for $1900 not to long ago. I think the larger trucks go for more due to logging use up there? Anyways good luck, if I can help preview anything on this side of the USA let me know.

I've been busy getting both trucks ready for the cross-country move, in fact going to Mike's (AMRAM) house today to swap a trans/torque converter on the CUCV. Tomorrow or Monday I'm meeting with Dwayne to place new kingpins, and bearings on the CUCV too. Dan helped me finish up the heater...
Yes Brad is still in business, he is slowly clearing stuff out so may want to get up here sooner rather than later. I don't think he is "going out of business" but he may be limited to what he can keep indoors.

Yeah Mike for sure there are lots of top notch guys in this hobby (such as Dan, Dwayne, Ed, and many others......to many to list)
