You might take a look on the FB page as we post local events there. Don't have anything soon, coming up that I know of.

I agree, but we can't let logic get in the way of making rulings over the ruled class. What about the Kenworths and Peterbilts? If logic meant anything to this discussion we would not be having it. What I am hoping, in the way they wrote the rule last time, it lumped military vehicles under...

Did have that meeting with Rep. Orcutt, last week. This is not high on their list, but he would support this. He said that he had a brief conversation with DOL and their concern is the crash worthiness of our vehicles, not meeting crumple standards. I asked how many crash incidents with the...

I don't think the Humvee issue is a problem with this. This bill had bipartisan support, but it was a busy session and my guess is that they didn't get much cheer leading from our side. Since we know about it this time that should make a difference. One of the issues that I have had with...

Sorry, don't know who it went to, but I heard about it after it died in committee. You might que up your Rep. that this is coming again. I will be talking with Rep. Ed Orcutt on this issue 19 DEC. He has seen my vehicles in multiple parades and knows what we do with them. This time we will...

Do you need a runner or are you ready to do some work on it? Also am having a meeting with a State Rep on this issue of MV licensing on 19 DEC. There was a bill ran in the last legislative session, that seemed to be oriented towards Humvees. It had bipartisan support but did not come out of...

I know I understand that, but the local vehicle inspection person is confused on the issue. Another variable on this is that the VIN's were originally for passenger vehicles and not trucks. Haven't researched that further yet. We will prevail.

They certainly did not stamp that on the data plate. One plate says serial number, the other says Identification Number. They also do not have BMY in the state Data base, so they put American General on the title. So the lady is working on having BMY added to the data base. Some fun.

Here is a picture of the vehicle in question and it's brother, a 1984 M923 that has been licensed for four or five years.

Am trying to get a 1991 M923A2 licensed in WA. It will be a title in doubt licensing procedure, due to a convoluted story. Went to SP for VIN check. Data plates in this truck say Serial Number and Identification Number, so he wouldn't go for that since it doesn't say Vehicle Identification...

We went and did a Combat Veterans Motorcycle Assoc. Toys for Tots event in Lacey on Saturday. Even with bad weather, they did a pretty good job filling two and a half trucks with toys. We had an M923, M923A1 and M928.

Yes Twin jets with Detroits pushing them. We think they will do about 32 knots. Depends on size of crew. Normal compliment is four. Boat number two is coming along. Interior of hull is painted and they are working on wiring and cables before engine and pump installation. By this time next...

Ahab, sorry I missed this. Too many things going on. It was the usual, hamburgers and hotdogs and all the stuff. Some people brought things as well. Don't think anyone went away hungry. We had about 15 vehicles in the parade including the last Navy PBR and took Grand Champion of the parade.

Sorry I missed this. Haven't been very diligent on the forum lately. H&H on the menu. Hamburgers and Hotdogs. Ended up with about 35-40 people and around 15 vehicles, including a trailered PBR. Got Grand Champion of the parade and best military unit.

Hammer, you were right about 187. Plus 30 or so for changing the title. So somewhere around 210. If I license it regular, with no restrictions, it is currently about 24 dollars. If I license it as intermittent and sell it to you in 2 years, you have to pay the big price again. It sounds...

Here are a couple more from the mission yesterday. Good weather and great time. No mechanical issues and no one got stuck. It was about 40 degrees out. Each time we stopped, people came to look at the vehicles. Good food and good friends.

Scott that was the same number issue that I had when I licensed the 3 M1102 trailers. They had a 4 digit serial number and one of the trailers, there were 7 other trailers already registered with the same number. 3 of which came up stolen. The lady at the license desk at the county was a...
