I don't know the M1917, but that sure looks like a revolver barrel in the vid, and there's clearly no slide beneath it. Am I mistaken? Because how are you using clips in a revolver? I'm sure I''m missing something here (and believe me I'm no handgun scholar or anything).
That was some nice...
That "roll call" shot you took (dead center of your pics) is terrific. It's nice to be able to see the whole line-up. Thanks a lot for that (and the other shots)! [thumbzup]
Those shooting stars are a great treat. I count myself lucky if I see one every two years or so.
Seeing a dozen - in ONE night- would be like a bonanza!
TheeDIZ has that artwork going on his rig, too, I think. Is that a club you all belong to or something?!
And thanks for all the pics. That looked like a fine event!
Is that a lake in the background?
The only wrinkle that differs from any of our weapons training at MCB Quantico was the command "Targets" instead of "Commence Firing" (and immediately, up came the target butts).
Or that's the way I'm remembering it, but it was a good while back now. Thanks for the memory boost though, SCG-G4!
That might be one of the best lessons I took away from my Seabee service, you always want a buddy whenever you do anything (the only catch is they can call you out on all your stories). :naner:
