Let me know when you make one of those alarms that ties to the tilt gauge. I could use one that goes off at 30 degrees or so. :D

Well, I’ve gotten through reading about 1/2 this thread, so I figure it’s time to introduce myself. So, I’m Brents347 (Brent), from Truckee, CA. and we’ve got an ’89 FLU that we bought from a private owner in about 2017. In the time we’ve had it, ive gone through a bit of stuff on the truck...

I think I just answered my own question. I came across an old post from FluFarm where he said that his in-cab alarm went off until the truck built up sufficient air pressure. Since I am currently working out a no-air situation, that would explain the circuit having full time power. Live and learn!

Here’s a question I haven’t found the answer to yet. The little alarm horn inside the cab, mounted to the dash down by the hand throttle, what is it triggered by? Trying to figure out how to get mine to work. i removed the old horn and it makes no noise when jumped straight to the battery so I’m...

On my front tilt booms one side suddenly got so bad that it drained all the fluid from the cylinder in my driveway while the machine WAS NOT running! I figured that one needed to be done. The other had a small leak (6" spot on my driveway while parked) so I just did both. The fact that it is a...

So I am in the process of rebuilding the hydraulic rams on my SEE, and what a pain in the ass that is! But I have learned a couple of things that I thought maybe I could contribute. First off, my understanding is that the Freightliner was built with a Case 580B/C backhoe attached, and that is...

Justacitizen, I too routinely drive my FLU around town, from my house to my property and hit top speeds of 45 on flat ground and 50 if downhill with the backhoe and loader attached. I live at 6,000' so I am really happy with those speeds. As far as speeds in each gear, hear is what I can...

Looking into this further, what is the 'tandem valve' that is located under the hood near the fuse boxes? It is part of the air system, but I have no ideas what it does. Looks like I get to go figure out how to get the trailer air supply valve out from under the cab without tilting the cab as...

Trailer brake air Hey guys, I need some help. I am through page 242 of this thread and haven't found it talked about yet. If it somewhere in the next 100 pages, I apologize in advance for covering this topic again. I have a FLU, and I have everything operating well but I now have a military...
