    Neophyte, cheapest is AV plates, (but you could not hall anything, car shows and such only), You could run a "H" weight plate, not cheap, best bet would be farm tags.

    I can under stand the cost savings on a truck, howver I don't see it on trailers. 8,000 lb plate is only 58.00 per year that you would use on a M105 trailer. If running a semi trailer it is about 98.00 for a non exp semi trailer plate, so why whould I want to pay 75.00 every year?
