Trimmed the donor cab and removed accessories from the bed in preparation for the crew cab build.
Also noted that the temp gauge never came off 100F, but the engine definitely felt warm after idling and taking her for a spin around the block. Guess it's something more to add to the list.
Exactly what I plan on doing once the crew cab project gets finished. Still debating on whether I'll make it removable or not though.

Picked up the cab, doors and step box for the crew cab project from a donor M35A3. :D
Also had to replace the batteries, as she failed to crank several times but would easily start with a jump. aua
Get the locking handles from Caliber1 if you havn't done so already...well worth the investment!

Put two new 9x20's on the front, swapped the old front tires to the middle axle, painted all the rims the same color, installed "newer" troop seats, adjusted passenger window to roll up and seal better, and started some rehab on the interior. Should be picking up the cab and doors for the crew...
I finally brought her home! Only about a 35 mile journey, but it sure was fun. Had an occasional shimmy at full speed, and the left rear tire showed some odd feathering (definitely not full contact with the road). Dunno, but I got two new 9x20's for the front and will most likely un-flip the...
Paint is the same as when he bought it at auction. He's a member on here and it was bought locally. It came from auction on singles, and I'm gonna believe him that they were flipped. I'll be driving her home this weekend (it was late last night) so I will definitely know then.
Well I'm going on the words of the owner, who is a member on here and has owned plenty of deuces. Talking to him he certainly knows his stuff, and an up close visual it certainly looks like it. I've researched hub flipping on the site, and will know for certain this weekend.
