I might try a quick and easy check of the delivery valve. Remove the cap and spring. With some help see if with the in tank pump running the delivery valve will pop out. Just don't loose it. If it is not free and pops out then the correct size flat blade screwdriver and a twist should set it...

If you have ever seen what moisture does to and air pack you would install an air dryer. They got smart on the A3 with the CTIS, air assist steering plus dual air packs and installed one. Nice up grade. Just sold my Deuce A3 on Saturday along with the 5 ton expandable shop van. Only five trucks...

Agree Allen and even on road a good size peice of trash or tire tread could knock it off. Don't know if you have already put a air dryer on your Deuce but that would be a better choise if you wanted to add something.
