Here’s where I put my kit from big Mike’s. It’s on the fire wall and there were already nut plates there so it literally was just screwing it down with the two bolts and the hood clears it, albeit close but close counts. All I do to check it is pop the drivers side cover down and you can see it...
Awhile back I replaced the passenger bench seat with a drivers box style and lost space for my dog so earlier this week I built a wooden platform for my bud that fits over the passenger seat. It gives him plenty of room to sit or lay.
Thanks for the compliments. I have been debating since I’ve done the swap wether to paint them all black, or leave them sand . The other half says she prefers the current look, but I think I’d like the all black look. So now I’m at a stand still. Currently have a hardtop under restorations...

I keep that exact set in my truck also. I agree on how easy it is to break them free, and I don’t have to worry about running out of air or dead batteries on a cordless impact on the side of the road. Although I use a cordless impact at the house.
Thank you!! I really appreciate it I’ve put some time into it since last December to get it to where it’s at since it had sat for quite a few years before I got it. Good thing is that’s the fun of it all.
No unfortunately not, just that one of the set on the seat. I was short on time with Mother Nature chasing me with rain. The old ones didn’t look bad, but I had no idea what condition they really were in or how long they were on the truck.
Finally got around to changing out all the soft brake lines this past weekend. Was going to install the springer seat that I got from @Junkyard Wars Crusher but ran outa time.
