Not to get into this chit throwing fight. but norton nor chrome is the problem, I run both on my laptop and it works fine, little trial and error to post pics after the upgrade but works like a charm now.
Now in regards to this thread I believe I have sold one "Isabell", and now currently have...
How long does that oil last on the paint, I might try that next time I go into a car show or parade if it last. I don't like carc dry look but love her when she is wet.
Chaged filters and batteries on crew cab. Tried to start my crew cab. Found out starter needs work, hung up bushings. Also, tried to pulled start it, not even popping. Think the fuel shut off is stuck. I have fuel at the final and the in tank pump works. So thats what will be coming up to work on
Decided to save my "parts deuce" instead of tearing her down, realized after looking at it all I need is a cab, fuel tank, and battery box it is a complete working deuce.
replaced all the fuel filters, couldn't figure out why my pump wasn't running when i tried to fill the canisters back up, turns out no one ever put a fuse in it, I often wonder how this truck ever ran after all the work my dad and i have done to it.
drove it home, and some how blew the secondary fuel filter gasket, MAN i love gaskets on the trucks- Just put it on the list of the heads oil pan and the water pump
trying to eliminate why my heads squirt oil, but only after she gets over 2100rpms if it just idles nothing but after 2100 you can open the hood up and see oil bubbling out. not enough to measure on the dip stick, or even see coolant in the oil or vise versa, just enough to piss me off, i like...
Just got my number 2 fuel out and put in number 1. Also, put an order in for a stainless steel saddle tank, for WMO in summer time (can't clog my fuel filters if the tanks clean to begin with)
