    I’m amazed at the overall shape of it. I’m going to look into the braces you’re talking about. There is an I beam support structure welded inside the bed where someone has mounted a tank. Maybe a grass fire rig. I’m wondering if maybe those braces add rigidity to the bed for a tank.

    Funny thing! The original fuel tank is gone. Someone has rigged a tiny little 5 gallon or so gas tank in the bed with an electric fuel pump. There’s also a brand new carb on the motor. The fuel in the tank is around 2 yrs old My first big job will be to take out that fuel tank, pump and gas...

    It does still have data plates but they aren’t in the best condition. Once I get it home I’m planning to spend some time cleaning the data plates while being careful not to damage them.
