What did you do to your deuce this week?

Got the Cummins in it running, dash back in, and in cab wiring done.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I have a pair. I won't be reusing the plastic battery box.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

That'll probably stop eventually, since you have an air dryer installed now.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I did that. I even used a regular nut instead of a nylock. The acorn nut isn't what seized, the stupid stop nut I added did.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Right now this is what I'm working on, rear output seal on the transfer case, another park brake drum, because mine has been warped since I got the truck. I'm tired of replacing mustache springs and inner shoes, and hearing the rattle. And of course, the stupid park brake cable broke off when I...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

You know I'm just ragging on you right? I just want to make that clear, because I know of it can be hard to tell sometimes when you are just reading something. I'm only here to make friends. You do have a nice new truck, and maybe, just maybe someday you will find the extra room and cash, and...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Pansy! 780 miles for me one way to the rally, in my deuce! :shrugs:

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yes, exactly. They came on MRAP seats.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Just finished installing my new seat base, with tabs welded on to support the four point harness that came with my seat, half of which has been laying on the floor under the seat uninstalled for over a year now. Got it all adjusted up and it sure feels much nicer than just the old lap belt.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Been working for the better part of a week now on issues with multiple vehicles here at the homestead. Pinion seals, greasing, and packing hubs, and found one wheel cylinder that I didn't like so I changed it while I had the hub off.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Is the vent cap on the air pack vent line free and clear of obstruction, and not crimped or mashed anywhere? It should be the one that comes up the firewall right by the breather box.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Get under the truck and rap on the skidplate with a budd wrench or hammer, and tap on the air cylinder. Then bleed it at the air pack bleeder and remove the 1/8" plug at the rear of the air cylinder and apply pedal to blow it out. If you get just air, add some air tool oil and cycle the brakes a...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

    Oh, here by the way...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I'm talking about the inserts that go inside the tubing. I can't make the old ones work with air brake line at all. They are visibly larger than the ones that are to be used with air brake line.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

    Poor feller... you got shorted.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

You can't reuse the inserts that are in the old line. They are slightly larger in diameter and won't go inside the air brake line. They will go if you heat the line with a lighter or heat gun, but then the threaded fittings won't slide down over them because it makes the line too large.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I reuse the original fittings and just add a tubing insert and a new crush ring.
