The job will vary depending which front crossmember you have.
I've done two hoses on deuces with the older style, narrow, and rectangular front crossmembers. No removing of alternator or radiator required.
I cringe tho when I look at my deuce with the newer, flatter, wider front crossmember...
The muffler cut the most noise, but I installed that several years before I had the "Sound Meter" app. MO MV Man reported 93.1 decibels with a soft top:
Before the new foam, Sound Meter toggled between 83/84 decibels at idle. So only somewhere around a 1 decibel reduction in noise there...
Lined the inside of my hardtop with GI ground mat foam.
Removed the forward M109 box window, dissembled it, replaced a rotted piece of wood where water had been leaking through, and put it all back together.
Cut a foil-lined GI ground mat to fit inside the transmission/transfer case tunnel...
This is actually about a month's worth of odds and ends, I'm playing catch-up:
1) Replaced the canvas on my stylin box seats with new fabric from Jatonka.
2) Touched up the paint here and there. Unfortunately I'm finding painting over CARC was not such a great idea, the CARC is still pealing...
I came home to a flat steering tire on Sunday and had the local Good Year Wingfoot tire shop replace the tube and flap. This tire was originally an unused spare that came with the truck, who knows how old the tube was, so I think the moral of my story is always put new tubes on your steering...
Had two tires and tubes changed, wheels sandblasted and black powder coated at my local Goodyear Wingfoot. Dropped these off Monday, picked up end of day Friday.
Installed Westfolk's secondary spin on filter kit with four new fuel lines.
Painted four rims, including the wingfoot serviced...
Took a fender off so I could patch a rust hole and repaint the entire fender. This will be my first attempt at welding a patch so I was practicing with a Mig welder on scrap metal last night.
